Season 3 of the immensely popular Netflix series Outer Banks premieres this month and we were honoured to be chosen once again to invite actors into Shoestring Studios for audio recordings. With our relationship now firmly established, we can provide and deliver first-class recordings for this type of production.
The popular 80’s classic movie, Turner & Hooch is being remade by Disney. Linking with the Dub Stage in Los Angeles, we recorded with actress Vanessa Lengies. A fantastic project to work on!

We had the pleasure of recording Alix Sharkey as he voiced his best selling memoir 'My Brother The Killer: A Family Story'. To hear Alix bring to life the people in his personal true story was both riveting and harrowing.

Shoestring Studios were approached to produce the jingle for Education USA - the U.S. Department of State's official source on U.S. higher education with over 430 international student advising centers in more than 175 countries and territories, including (closer to home) 3 centers in Barbados and 7 others in Antigua and Barbuda, Dominica, Grenada, Saint Lucia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, St. Kitts, and Nevis.
The challenge was to produce a jingle that appealed to the global target market of potential students with the right messages using the right music - all within 30 seconds. We called on 2 great Caribbean vocalists - Ch'An and Philip 7 - to come and sang the jingle and they brought exactly the right flavours, whilst ensuring all along the messages were clear.
The result was a catchy tune that Education USA were humming from the get go!
