Audiobooks are listened to these days pretty much everywhere - driving, commuting, travelling or as one goes off to sleep. And therefore, they need to be recorded well, and in the right way, so the Audiobook sounds good no matter what folks are listening to them on.

Shoestring Studios have years of experience recording audiobooks for UK and US publishing houses and individual authors. We've got a tried and tested setup, comfortable for the voice actors and reliable for those directing recording sessions remotely.

One such project was for Harper Collins UK where we recorded 'My Brother The Killer: A Family Story' by Alix Sharkey - A remarkable memoir, a harrowing true story of family, violence, guilt and atonement - how a journalist reflects on his own journey to come to terms with his brother’s terrible crimes—and to find justice for the young girl he killed.
